Faith Pray & Puddle Jump Collective
Happy New Year!
We all have wishes
and hopes for the new year -
so many they could fill a tree
or a river
or an ocean, maybe.
So I asked members of Puddle Jump Collective
to give me one word to wish -
for the new year,
This is like one of those party games:
"If you could be any color, what would you be?"
I'm kind of a rule messer-upper.
"What color would I be? Naples Yellow! No, no, no, wait, er..Apple Green! Em...Periwinkle." "Hang on..ooh, definitely Delft Blue! Yep, Nope! Apricot?"
Ergo, "Pick one word to wish for the new year" is a little tricky.
Because, really, I'd like to think we deserve more than one wish, right?
And there are so many great wish words out there!
but there I go breaking the rules of the party game again.
So, here are a few one-word wishes
as we ease our toes
into the swift river of 2017
From Lorian Tu-Dean.
From Christina Brown.
From Sharon Sordo.
From Tarsila Kruse
From Katie Carberry.
From Lynnor Bontigao.
From Faith Pray.
It's 2017 -
Let's make it beautiful!
